Palo Alto's Race and Equity Efforts: One Year Later (blog)

Published on July 28, 2021

The City of Palo Alto adopted a Race and Equity Framework one year ago, affirming the City’s commitment to anti-racism that launched the City’s race and equity efforts. A previous blog details efforts that the City completed last summer, and another blog summarizes actions taken during the latter part of 2020.

On this one-year anniversary of the Race and Equity Framework — and the summer 2020 Black Lives Matter protests — it’s important to check in and remember our work is far from over. This blog tracks the City’s progress so far, and provides a summary of upcoming programs you can participate in to stay up to date and continue the conversation.
